CRAFT
Make a Colorful Paletero Popsicle!
Materials You Receive for Each Child:
1 paper popsicle
Tissue Paper squares
1. Color the popsicle to create your very own special "flavor"
2. Glue the tissue squares onto the popsicle to give it extra color and paletero pizazz!

Nonfiction books are an important tool in growing your student's early literacy skills.
Nonfiction books, like Hippos Are Huge are useful for building children's vocabulary and
language skills as they introduce children to new words with images that support their
meaning, while encouraging critical thinking and information-gathering skills
and helping children connect with the world around them.
