LITERACY TIP
Sometimes it can be tricky to get preschoolers interested in non-fiction books. If you find that the text of a book isn’t holding your student’s attention, try discussing the pictures. Ask them questions and answer any questions they have for you. This may spark their interest and give them a newfound interest in the book you are sharing, and other fact-based books as well!
