LITERACY TIP
Rhymes help teach your child many new words that they may not hear in everyday conversation. Hearing and understanding many words helps children sound them out when they are learning to read. Use Monsters Porridge Hot, and the other rhymes provided in your storytime kits, to talk about words and rhymes with your students. Ask children to find the words that rhyme.
