CRAFT
Make a Sun Catcher
Directions:
Each child will receive:
Paper Plate
Tissue Squares
1. Use crayons to decorate your plate..
2. Peel the cover piece off of the contact paper and stick the tissue squares all over to create a colorful sun catcher.
LITERACY TIP
"Imagination is more important than knowledge."
Albert Einstein was onto something when he said this. Encouraging children to use their imagination when they play, create and learn is an important way to prepare them for success in both school and life. Imaginative play support both acquisition of knowledge and capacity for creative thinking and is critical for developing oral language.
